Scrip Fundraiser

We are starting the Scrip program at Harvest. This is a way to raise money for Liberia just by shopping at stores you normally shop  at anyway. Amazing 80

The Amazing 80 is a challenge to do something amazing for others knowing it will directly change their lives forever. We are looking for 80 people, groups, businesses or churches that will make a one time sacrifice of $1,000 dollars.  This money will go to erect a building in Monrovia, Liberia that will be used by hundreds of Liberians. Click here for more information!

Harvest Hope

We are introducing a new program called Harvest Hope. It is a community outreach program to provide assistance and to uplift those around us, both believers and non-believers. To get this ministry off the ground we are beginning with some cleaning, fixing, and organizing in the office, the Harvest house, and our pantry of community donated supplies. Hello!  The Harvest Journey building project is moving forward.  The kitchen floor is nearly complete.  The kitchen ceiling and cabinets are being installed this week.

A few items still on the To Do list include landscaping, tiling the bathrooms, flooring in the gym and weight room, and organizing and clean up.

We are still waiting for a couple of inspections and a few things to be finished around the building.

Here are some things to celebrate:

· Since the beginning of Journey we have had 13 people surrender their lives to Jesus.  That means 13 more people are going to Heaven.  God is moving!  

· We have had many people come forward during Sunday Service to ask for prayer and seek to renew their walk with the Lord.

· Financially, God is continuing to provide through your sacrifice.  We are paying down our debt and meeting all our financial obligations.

· We are already using the new building for the Clubhouse kids and with community groups, not to mention the number of times we have used it for class and Harvest activities.  In fact, we have a wedding coming up that will be using the new kitchen.

 

God is good, all the time!
