The Outreach Ministry exists to touch people with the love of Christ in Muncie and around the world. It consists of missions, Harvest Hope, meal schedules, prayer blankets, Thanksgiving baskets, and Christmas gifts for needy families. Scripture to reference: Matthew 25:35-36.
Adult Education (Leader David Rawls): Contact David
The Adult Education Ministry exists for the purpose of growing people in the knowledge of God. This ministry is geared toward educating the body on various topics that effect our spiritual growth and our relationship with Jesus by offering in-home Bible studies, conducting training and education programs, and having a college ministry. Senior High (Leader Randy Tempest): Contact Randy
The Senior High Youth Ministry exists to serve, educate, and love our senior high youth. Our desire is to see each senior high youth grow spiritually, be more disciplined in prayer and study, and realize who they are in God's eyes. The Crash youth group includes all youth in grades 9-12. We meet most Sunday evenings from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Crash room above the gym. Each summer we attend the Christ In Youth "Move" summer conference. As sponsors, we invest our lives into these kids and show them love and grace as Christ has shown us. We exist to help their parents raise them in the ways of Christ. Junior High (Leader Tom Hahn): Contact Tom
Connect is a ministry designed for students in 6th, 7th and 8th grade. Our vision is to create an effective youth ministry that fosters a connection with Jesus Christ through worship, the Word and fellowship with the body of Christ. Connect is dedicated to developing Disciples of Christ by living out life with young people. We focus on God's promise of significance and closeness to Him. Scripture to reference: James 4:7-8.
Children (Leader David Rawls): Contact David
LAUNCH is the children's ministry of Harvest Christian Fellowship and includes kids 0 – 5th grade. It exists for the purpose of encouraging children as they journey toward a life of faith. Our prayer and goal is that each child's life will be consumed by God's love as they love, learn, live, and LAUNCH! This ministry includes Sunday morning classes, Wednesday evening classes, and Truth Travelers (an elite group of mission minded students committed to sharing Jesus' love with their neighbors all around the world). Fellowship (Leader Kelli Edwards): Contact Kelli
The Fellowship Ministry exists to encourage and promote body life here at Harvest! This ministry organizes and plans fellowship events for the entire body. Examples of events are seasonal parties, group outings, monthly activities, Parent’s Night Out, and also greeting the Church body on Sundays. We are excited to offer planned activities that continue to strengthen the body life here at Harvest. Scripture to reference: Acts 2:42; 1 John 1:7.
Maintenance (Leader Bryon Mercer): Contact Bryon
The Maintenance Ministry exists to oversee the upkeep and development of the Church facilities and grounds. It consists of a team willing and capable to complete necessary jobs around the Church building. These jobs include but are not limited to painting, plumbing, drywall, patching, mowing, and trimming. This also includes the cleaning ministry. Scripture to reference: 1 Corinthians 3:8-9.
Worship (Leader Kathy Wrisley): Contact Kathy
The mission of the Worship Ministry is to "set the table" for excellent worship each Sunday morning and to encourage the body to worship throughout the week. This ministry involves a number of people such as singers, instrumentalists, sound board technicians, computer-aided slides, video, and communion preparation. We use a lot of creativity in this ministry and we are always searching for ways to keep things fresh and relevant to worship. We want our hearts to be focused on servanthood and true admiration towards Our Awesome God. Scripture to reference: John 4:23-24; John 12:32.
Communication (Leader Kenzie Isaacs): Contact Kenzie
The Communication Ministry works to keep people informed. We want to relay to the body of Christ and to the community what God is doing through Harvest. Key words for this ministry are connected, engaged, uniform, and inform. We maintain the Harvest website, create and distribute the newsletter Harvest Happenings, coordinate the calendar for the gym/church, produce the bulletin and project announcements each Sunday morning, prepare various printed materials and video, and strive to reach Muncie through communication. Scripture to reference: Romans 10:17; Acts 5:20; Acts 10:36.
